If you like to read French novels in French, Book Club is for you!
How does it work? Each month, we suggest a title. Participants have one month to read it and at the end of the month, we meet up to discuss the book, ask questions, read our favourite extract etc. A tutor from AFDY conducts the debate and suggests avenues for exploration and analysis.
We hope to be starting the book club in January 2013. There will be a small fee per participant. Venue and time tbc.
If interested, please contact us by email, mentioning "Book Club" in the subject line.
Meetings: Wednesday evenings from 7pm to 8:30pm.
Community room 43A, Ouse Lea, near Clifton Green (Y030 6SA).
No need to be fluent in French or even to be able to read music ; no audition.
If you'd like to know a bit more about it, why not come and see for yourself?
Just let us know in advance.
AFDY members £2. Non-members £4.00/session
