Crobard'Party #13 Pencil Drawing workshop
Hospitium de York

Pour cette séance, nous irons à York, et plus particulièrement à l’hospitium. Ce bâtiment à pans de bois a été construit au début des années 1300 et aurait été utilisé comme logement pour les voyageurs fatigués visitant l'abbaye Sainte-Marie.
Nous en ferons une vue permettant d’en apprécier l’architecture traditionnelle.
Bien sûr - et c’est toujours le principe – ce sera avec l’équipement minimal que nous avons tous : une feuille de papier ordinaire, un crayon de papier, une règle (facultatif). Et naturellement une gomme !!!!
Et, toujours tous ensemble par Zoom. Si vous savez dessiner, pas de problème. Et si vous ne savez pas dessiner, pas de problème non plus. Le dessin est très simple, nous nous aiderons mutuellement, et je vous guiderai.
Si nous ne vous vous jurerons toujours pas que votre œuvre finira aux musées de Dijon ou d’York, on vous promet de la publier. Toujours, si vous le désirez.

Hospitium, York

For this session, we will be going to York, and more specifically to the hospitium. This timber-framed building was built in the early 1300s and would have been used as accommodation for weary travelers visiting St. Mary's Abbey. We will make a view of it to appreciate its traditional architecture.
Of course, - as always – it will require a minimal set of tools that we all have : a standard sheet of paper, a pencil, and eventually a ruler. And of course a rubber!!!!
And, all together via Zoom. If you know how to draw, no problem. And if you don't know how to draw, no problem either. the drawing is very simple, we will support one another, and I will guide you through the process.
We can not promise that your artwork will end in the museums of Dijon or York, but we can promise to publish it if you wish so.
