Cultural events​

We offer two conversational meet-ups per month in-person. We also run a book club once every two months online. These events are free for new-comers and members and are open to any French level. ​

As well as the events run by the York Alliance Française, we also work in collaboration with other Alliances Françaises throughout the UK to offer you talks or conversational meet-ups. 

​

The city of York is twinned with Dijon in France and some events are organised in conjunction with the Alliance Française de York.

For some French culture you can engage in by yourself, take a look at the Culturethèque, a website filled with movies, stories and music in French! There is also TV5MondePlus, which has a large variety of Francophone content available online!
