Défi Inter-Alliances 2025

We are delighted to announce that the Alliance Française de York is participating in the Défi Inter-Alliances 2025!

Le DEFI is a general knowledge quiz on French and Francophone cultures.

Challenge other students within the Alliance Française de York to represent us in the British national selection. Be in the top 2 to represent the UK in the semi-final then be the best to take part in the final to compete international learners in Nice!

Here are our 2 winners of the local selection that was on Saturday 5th of April!

Martin (B2/C1 Conversation) and Kate (B1 General French) will represent the Alliance Française de York for the UK National selection on 10th May!
